Everyone plays at once.
Tap Tap Zap is built around simultaneous decisions. You're not sitting there waiting while someone else works through their move. Everyone is watching everyone.
Who are they targeting? Who's targeting you? What are they plotting? And who's about to zap first?
When the chant hits ZAP, everyone commits. That's when the table erupts.

The rules get you playing. The people create the game.
SPOT
Spot the danger. See who's lining you up before the chant even starts.
PLOT
Plot your move. Pick your target and decide what gives you the best chance.
ZAP
Zap them before they Zap you. Be the last person standing and you'll win the game.

For the nights when you want more than a party game
Tap Tap Zap is made for group hangouts where everyone’s keen to play something with a bit more to sink their teeth into. You’ll make real decisions, read the room and laugh at how quickly your plans fall apart.
A game takes around 20–30 minutes, so it won’t take over your night. But with different people, targets and choices every time, there’s always a reason to play again.
- Friend-group game nights
- Parties and flat gatherings
- Families and mixed casual groups
- People who say, "I'm not really a board gamer"
- Board gamers who still love reading the table and ridiculous decisions

You don't need to be a hardcore gamer. You just need a few people you're willing to point a Zapper at.
15+ versions later, we're still zapping.

In development
Tap Tap Zap has been shaped through real play. Rules have changed. Components have changed. Strategies have appeared that weren't expected.
The goal throughout has stayed the same: make it easy to start, fun immediately and interesting enough to play again.

It started in the playground.
Tap Tap Zap began with a simple game my friends and I used to play as kids. It had some of the same ideas, but it was a much simpler game back then.
One day, my board game group couldn’t decide what to play, so I showed it to them. We added a few twists, got a bit geeky about what else it could do, and kept playing.
More than nine months, 15+ versions, countless hours of brainstorming and 60+ players later, we have Tap Tap Zap. I never imagined that little playground game would get this far.
Now we’re getting ready to approach tabletop game publishers. This might be the hardest stage yet: finding out whether the game we love has a place in the wider market. Wish us luck!
